Another perfect December day for engagement photos! And this time, it was VERY special and dear to my heart because it's my own sister's session! I love her and Micah so much, and I wish them both so much happiness!!! My heart is bursting :)
I had the lovely opportunity to shoot photos of Jen Hilz for her blog You & Coffee (check it out - she has very useful and thoughtful articles about life, business tips, and travel)! We met at one of my favorite coffee shops, Davis Street Espresso, and I was able to get some great shots of her!
Demeree recently reached out to me for a family portrait session, and I was so excited to get back into shooting for others! We met at Arbor Hills Nature Preserve for some golden hour light. It was cloudy all day but happened to be sunny just as we needed it :)
It was my second time ever taking portraits with a kid, but he was so well-behaved and a dream to work with! Look at those BALLOONS!
I also learned a lot of tips that I will need to try myself in the future... like bringing along my sister to make my kid laugh for photos (so grateful for Demeree's brother!). Many thanks to Demeree and her family for making this a quick and easy photoshoot!
